Just published by Bleeding Cool is an ode to 2000AD from one of the biggest comics superstars to emerge from its pages, Garth Ennis. Admittedly he focuses completely on the first 15 years or so of the comic, but it's a great collection of best moments and he's certainly right about that character defining scene in the Apocalypse War. Now can we see an article which talks about the present-day crop of droids?
And while we're on that subject, it seems to be Droid Signing Month in September.
First up is a couple of signings at The Travelling Man. If you're in the Leeds branch on the 5th September, you'll get to see Frazer Irving, Liam Sharp, Peter Doherty and Andy Diggle, as part of a Gears of War signing. Later on in the month, there's a special 2000AD signing in the Manchester branch involving Al Ewing, Dave Taylor, Ian Edginton, Leigh Gallagher and Steve Yeowell.on 26th September, which should be starting at around 1pm.
Finally, London's Orbital comics has Pat Mills, Clint Langley and Leigh Gallagher in for a signing on 12th September.
If you know any any more signings, please let us know.
