Poll Results

Ok - we asked: After Aliens, who should Dredd cross paths with next?

And you said:

Robocop (25) 26%
The Thing (from the movie) (20) 21%
The Punisher (19) 20%
Hellboy (16) 17%
X-Men (16) 17%

Now, I feel this is probably due to the fact that you all want to see Dredd whup Robocop's ass for blatantly stealing his schtick. I personally went for The Thing, as it fits much better within Dredd's world, especially with it's emphasis on paranoia. There's definitely scope for the Punisher too - especially if written by Garth Ennis.

Well the next poll is up and running: After Dredd vs Death, what genre should the next Dredd game be in?

Vote in the National Comic Awards

OK - so the Beano took the gongs last year (which was actually quite amusing) so if you want to changes things this year, then you'll have to get out there and make the vote count.

As for lifetime achievement - it's about time John Wagner got some recognition in that area. And if you feel like voting for a specialist website - feel free to think of this one(!)

Dredd Vs Death available for pre order

OK, so it's not out until September, but if you're the organised sort, it appears that Rebellion have started taking advance orders for the new Dredd game. September doesn't seem that long away - especially as we don't appear to have seen any real in-game shots yet (i.e. involving a HUD etc) - so don't be surprised if this slips a little closer to Christmas.

I note it's only available on PC and PS2 so far - as there hasn't yet been an official announcement about it's appearance on other formats (although a recent C&VG article pointed towards an Xbox & Gamecube outing too).

Pre-order Dredd vs Death from Amazon.
