Extreme Edition No 2 - full details revealed

As previously reported, Extreme edition no 2 will indeed feature the life and crimes of PJ Maybe.

Longtime Dredd readers will remember that Maybe was a recurring character in Dredd's world who we caught up with art several stages of his development allowing us to see the growth of a super criminal. Finally collecting all the Maybe stories into one edition, this comes very highly recommended indeed, and should prove more popular than the rather obvious Dredd vs Death Extreme Edition no 1.

Prog 2004 and more

More Images from Prog 2004 have appeared on the official site - with previews of Nikolai Dante and the Red Seas appearing online. See full details in Tharg's stocking thrillers.

In addition, the full line up has been reveled as

  • Dredd by Wagner & Murray
  • Caballistics Inc by Rennie & Reardon
  • Danté by Morrison & Burns
  • The Red Seas by Edginton& Yeowell
  • Slaine by Mills & Langley
  • VCs by Abnett & Williams
  • Robo Hunter by Grant & Gibson
  • Monsters of Rock by Rennie & Irving

Also ripe for a jumping on point will be next month's Megazine with 3 Dredd stories (including art by Kennedy and Flint on one tale, and Pat Mills writing a Satanus tale.) Plus Anderson returns in Half Life by Grant & Ranson and Whatever happened to Tweak by Mills, Weston & Leach.

Both issues should be ideal jumping on points for new readers.

Just launched on the web is a new Dredd e-comic: Who is Citizen X by Tadeusz Cantwell and Janto McMullin. It's a little confusing to start with - but is worth checking out.
