News Round-Up: 02 December 02

Prog 2003 and Meg 201 Previews

Several more images for the end of year spectaculars have surfaced on the net. Comicon's Pulse, in association with Rebellion, has released a number of images from the stories. There's art by Ian Gibson, John Burns, Henry Flint and more in Prog 2003, and images from Ezquerra, Colin MacNeil, Simon Fraser and more from the Megazine. The images are good, but due to Pulse's total lack of supporting text, you'll have to figure out who's responsible for what yourselves.

You have to give Tharg credit for the PR he's getting for Prog 2003. By the time the progs appear in our nearest newsagents, we'll have seen practically the whole issue!

Titan Releases More Collections

A couple more Titan collections surfaced this week under practically a veil of secrecy. Are they afraid of getting publicity for these tomes? You have to search a little too hard for info on them, even on the official site!

Regardless, the titles are Rogue Trooper, which collect some of the earliest classic Rogue stories, Judge Dredd: Innocents Abroad by Ennis and Staples and Judge Anderson: Death's Dark Dimension by Wagner, Grant, Ewins and Robinson.

But perhaps the "must have" is unfortunately coming out after Christmas. The Day the Law Died is possibly the best Dredd epic ever, and anyone who hasn't read this yet can't possibly consider themselves a Judge Dredd fan. Out on 27th December.
