It's been SO quiet in here, its really sad. Has everyone gone already or are you just waiting for something to discuss?

Gone already.

This was a cool site, we shall not see it's like again.

Haven't been posting anything as there never tends to be a response. Gutted really. Is it a case that everyone has gone over to the main site? I've never posted on the main site - what is/ was the main difference between this and that?

Like the difference between a shopping mall and a corner shop. Big and scary but there's a lot of choice.

(And they use all those naughty grown up words.)

Yes - sorry about the lack of discussion in here, but the board will be closing down in a couple of weeks so it's best to get used to the main 2000AD one. Two more 2000AD reviews, 1 meg review and a big feature still to come...

And if there's anyone who doesn't check out the official board, you should take a look here:

Gavin -

Why stop at prog 1696, and not do the extra 4 weeks to round off on the more numerically satisfying 1700?

So sad this site is going.

Stopped coming here after I lost my job and could no longer afford any comics to talk about sad.gif

I've even had to give up the Meg! The monthly! So yeah, I for one didn't think the site was collapsing, but everytime I pop in for a sneak peak, it is a quieter and quieter sad.gif

Well, if this is it, I just want you guys to know, that despite my absence the past year or so, I havn't forgotten you guys. It was this site that helped me get deeper into comics, and help me excercise my script writing, which has lead to other creative feats. I have a lot of fun memories here.

Hi guys. I stopped coming here when I became a father and my wife fell ill. Between those two things I've not had a lot of time to do anything in the past 18 months, but I just want to say how awesome this site is/was. Not only did I enjoy writing for the site, reading the opinions of others was always the highlight of my week beyond the mag itself.

Thanks a lot Gavin, you made reading 2000AD something more than a comic, you made it a community.

Peace, Love & Empathy.
